Thanks Adam, Everything helps! I got these great beans and looked at my rig and went, "Yeah, time to start getting more serious". It's rewarding with the old tools, but not very consistent and I'd really like to experience achieving a better roast

The factory baskets are inferior? After I realized it comes with a fancy plastic tamper, I decided it was too good for me and ordered a heavier one. But I didn't realize there was even a discussion about the baskets!

Thank you Bert. That's my line of thinking. Notice that the meter and controls are on the lower part of the face, in front of the drain pan? That's how the commercial models seem to be. The domestic models have the controls up higher, on the side. But I still can't find one that has this exact confi...
