[FOUND] Bezzera Family Lever (not working for parts)
I love my bezzera family lever but the group head piston assembly froze up. Before trying to rebuild, I am looking to see if anyone has a machine sitting in their basement as an unfinished project, forgotten heirloom, or simply taking up space. I don't need a working model but the group head should ...

Bezzera Family from the ground up (completed)
Wow Fantastic work! I've been out of the county so just seeing this now. I sheared my piston shaft as well a while back and put my family lever in the basement until I figured out what to do. It also gave me a chance to play with my Coffex a bit but

[SOLD] Hottop with TC4C board
I've decided to put my trusty Hottop B KN-8828B up for sale now that I know I'll keep my Quest (wasn't sure for a while there as the hottop roasts were pretty close but it's easier to do back to backs with the Quest). This is a used and upgraded Hottop: * it comes with a TC4C ardunio

Quest M3s or Hottop KN-8828B-2K+
I've went from popcorn popper-> SC/TO-> older upgraded hottop with artisan control (TC4C) -> recently got a Quest M3S with artisan interface (phidget to measure BT/ET). I 'just' decided to sell my hottop as the roasts I got from it 'were' equal if not better to the Quest and I wasn't sure if I wante...

Bezzera Family Lever (part deux)
that looks very similar to how my family lever performed after i installed the strega seals. unfortunately, I've mangled up my piston assembly so wasn't able to troubleshoot (will post a new thread on that shortly). my next step was going to be to try to break the seals in by pulling water shots as ...

Ater Family- Project Done
I tried the strega gaskets after it was stuck.. this is a mechanical issue. The chrome rod that attaches to the lever doesn't come all the way up. I have been taking some pics and may create a thread to document. jim

Ater Family- Project Done
No, I recently installed strega gaskets (based on a thread here). Unfortunately I can't say if they work right now as I am trying to disassemble my piston assembly as it was not pulling smoothly. It's been soaking in citric acid for a few days... not the best solution but I'll sacrifice the chrome (...
