[SOLD] 2012 HG-One w/ 71mm burrs (serial #14)

This is one of the original 2012 HG-One grinders, and one of the very few produced using the faster-grinding 71mm burrs. I bought this regionally from a fellow H-B circa 2014 and used this daily though late-2018, when I bought a used Kafatek grinder here on the Buy/Sell forum. Hard to say what the f...

Olympia Express pressurestat microswitch

Right. I have both styles. The 1974 Cremina uses the pstat with the markings on the knob. The 1990s HX has the unmarked knurled knob. I basically stole the microswitch off the newer pstat to refurbish the older unit. In my case, once I had traced the problem to the pstat, I started toggling the micr...

After tracing wires and checking continuity and so forth, I eventually isolated the problem in the microswitch...

Olympia Cremina--up in smoke!!

The quick fix could be as simple as replacing the rusty, high-resistance connector. There is evidence of water leaking out of the boiler gasket. That's an unusual place to have a leak. If that gasket is bad, you may find that all of the gaskets and seals need to be replaced. With any used machine like

Espresso scale with timer, best for price?

I have been running the original Brewista since its release with no real complaints or problems. In the first year, I used some of the pre-sets. But for the last couple of years, I just run it in the full manual mode. No complaints. When I used it on my HX machine, I took care to make sure that it
