Matrix Shower Screen?

The concept is quite interesting but as Decent Espresso has shown us, computer modelling what affects flow is often unexpected. Is there a Golden Rule for batch size?

80% is a useful number as manufacturers often overstate the capacity their roaster can offer useful control over... this will relate to the heat source also. Have you attempted somewhere between 150 and 227? i.e. the recommended max 200g?

New Fellow Ode 64mm flat brew grinder (Kickstarter)

Been away for a bit and am surprised to see this discussion. Many of us have tried home vs commercial and note obvious taste improvements plus shorter grinding times. To my recollection my Super Caimano and Roburs have never stalled, but the SJ with SSP burrs does start stall occasionally with what ...

Monolith Conical vs Gotham Degrees North...

There are other types, not in common specialty coffee usage like the "crusher" burrs... but my reading is that the emphasis is on both types of burrs... Plus there's the issue of alignment, which the Monolith would do much better than older grinder types... comparing older practices with newer when ...

Arc Roaster vs Probatino

You're comparing roasters at very different price points...These seem like odd comparisons to make given feature and price disparity. Perhaps you can describe what you need and want in a roaster, so we can help out a bit more?

Chemists claim cold brew not less acidic

If there's any difference for reflux, it's probably with regard to smooth muscle activation/relaxation and associated oesophageal sphincter leakage. So, a different compound than acidity. Nice to see prior studies supported showing pH isn't tightly related to perceived acidity... I can remember some...
