Left my espresso machine sitting for several months - what to clean?
I have a Lelit PL042. I have been very busy, traveling, etc. and haven't used it for several months. It has been sitting idle on my counter, with the same water in the reservoir/boiler. I did a backflush/etc. using Cafiza just before I stopped using it, although I pulled a few shots in the following

Lelit PL042LET questions - PID kit, altitude, backflush, tamper size, etc.
I am enjoying my new Lelit PL042LET, but the documentation that came with it is miserable, and the people who sold it to me don't seem to know anything. If someone could steer me in the right direction on any of the questions below, I'd appreciate it: 1) I live in Colorado Springs, CO. Water boils at

How to tell if vibratory pump is damaged?
I stupidly ran my new Lelit PL042 out of water the other night while I was cleaning it before putting it away for the night. I was running water through the portafilter empty when I noticed the flow slowing. A few seconds later, I realized that what I thought was the water level on the tank was actu...

From left to right, there is the on/off switch, the "pump switch", and the "steam switch". The on/of...

Don't understand the switches on my Lelit PL042LET
This is very frustrating. Why couldn't they have just said somewhere in the manual, "switch 2 turns on the pump", "switch 3 position 1 sets the thermostat", "switch 3 position 2 does whatever", etc.? I don't understand why I am supposed to do anything with the 3-position steam switch if I just want ...

Don't understand the switches on my Lelit PL042LET
The steam switch definitely has three positions, and the manual is definitely written as if it has only two

Don't understand the switches on my Lelit PL042LET
I just got a Lelit PL042LET for Christmas. The manual can be found here, so that you can see a picture of the machine. {link} However, the manual sucks. There are three switches, from left to right: the on/off switch, the "coffee / hot water switch", and the "steam switch". The on/off
