Hand (grinder) Jive - a photo essay

I stumbled across this Stoha ceramic burr manual grinder at T.J. Maxx yesterday... It got a workout this morning & performed very well for french press. Without a whole lot of effort (didn't count the revolutions) it quickly ground enough for my 8 cup press. The grind was fairly consistent and didn'...

Hand (grinder) Jive - a photo essay

I'm using this new (to me) DeVe No. 446 this weekend... I've found it falls just short of an espresso grind, but does a very good job for french press & pour-over brewing. It also adds some serious class to the kitchen counter! {image}

Good coffee suggestions for Vail, CO?

I don't think I've tried this place yet, but it sounds good... I'm usually more focused on the snow & grab whatever is hot. "We feature the Valley's best coffee, roasted locally and supplied by Vail Mountain Coffee & Tea Co..." {link}

Post a pic of your home espresso setup...

I'm new here, so I'd like to to say a quick hello & post a pic of my first espresso setup... A good friend recently gifted me this Francis X5 and my interest in coffee has changed for good. {image} I have already learned a lot from reading the forum. Thanks for having me!
