Latte art not spreading

You are getting there! Maybe try a milk texture a little more on the liquid side of things. Looks like your designs are a little stiff still. The rest is just practice, you will learn to "lean into" the pour to get the design to occupy the whole cup. It's something that you adjust on the fly as

Espresso machine upgraditis... is there a cure for it?

A coffee setup provides two things IMO. First, a result in the cup. We are all looking for a good cup of coffee. We buy equipment, read the forums and hone our skills. For me, after spending 20 something years fussing about with scales, RDT, WDT, thermometers and regular visits to my local coffee ro...

This valve sits on the top of the machine and therefore dumped water all over the motor and rotary pump, which are housed under the ...

I'm a new Pro 800 owner and drink moslty medium-light and medium roasts. Coming off an E-61 HX machine. More on the fruit and caramel than on the chocolate in terms of flavours I seek out. Am I extracting everything that I could possibly get from certain roasts I use? Probably not. But I'm not the k...

Single Dose "Endgame" Grinder Suggestions?

Well, OP is looking at grinder for espresso and pour over, and is looking at things like Lagom p64, Bentwood Vertical, Weber EG1. So I think we're all assuming light to medium roasts and flat burrs of various big-ish, titan-ish sizes yeah?

Single Dose "Endgame" Grinder Suggestions?

Was looking for the same kind of thing. Placed a pre-order for a Kafatek Monolith Flat. They still had a few Flat MAX available up until late last week. You might want to inquire if they can fit you in should it be of interest to you. I also looked at the EG-1, but the complexity of this

QuickMill Nuova Águila weird rotary pump sound

We are looking for anything that would block water getting easily to the pump inlet from the reservoir which could cause cavitation OR anything that might allow air to get to the pump inlet which would make a similar sound. Crud blocking pipes, selector valve partially closed, a solenoid valve that ...
