News burrs = WOW (and super-automatic grind adjustment tips?)

Thanks for the details, that's going to help. Just to be sure a double shot is 2 oz correct? I can set my machine to pump the exact amount of water I want in both an espresso or regular coffee by holding down the button while it brews and letting go when the quantity I want is reached and

News burrs = WOW (and super-automatic grind adjustment tips?)

As I had posted a while ago my super automatic had the same burrs for about 10 000 espressos/coffees so they were due for like 3 replacements. I finally changed them yesterday and did maybe 10 espressos to calibrate the grind, at first it was grinding so fine the 18 bar pump could barely get drops t...

Does reverse osmosis water filter prevent scale buildup?

I know this is an old post but I was just reading about RO water. What I do is buy Himalayan salt rocks at the health food store (coarse Himalayan salt would also work) and put it in a 2 cup jar of water, enough so it gets saturated and the salt rocks can no longer dissolve. Himalayan salt

Bodum espresso glasses are awesome (& espresso size question)

I always liked Bodum double wall insulated glasses and got these shortly after getting my espresso machine, I also have some larger 13 oz ones for coffee/tea. {image} They are 3oz filled nearly to the rim or 2 oz when filled as in the picture. This brings me to the question, what is a normal espress...
