La Marzocco GS3 (2017) gurgling when steamer is on

That's the one! If they're not giving you free shipping, I'm always a fan of having another on hand, and ordering at least one more might save some money; assuming that was your problem, you've got another pair of solenoids that could have issues down the road. There is also a small gasket inside th...

La Marzocco GS3 AV - water pump adjustment screw dripping water

Did you replace and lubricate the o-ring or just lubricate? If the latter, you should try replacing it

Expansion Valve - Too Much Water during Brew Cycle

So the issue was the expansion valve/bypass. This worked: With the machine off, loosen the bypass on the pump all the way, then retighten 2 full turns. Tighten the expansion valve all the way then back off an 1/8th of a turn (for me full tightening meant locked, as in I couldn't easily loosen

Replacing La Marzocco GS3's No Burn Steam Wand PTFE Tube?

Here is a picture of the two tubes in the newly received old cool touch wand. {image} The tube LMZ cut was actually 3" too short, so I turned the steam assembly upside down. {image}

Poor seal on gasket even after replacing

I would think either you're not getting a good seal (cd be the basket, gasket, ears not locked in) or there's a pressure problem (over dosing, too fine a grind, pump or hydraulic problem). Usually over dosing or to find a grind result in water coming out of a safety valve as pressure builds up in th...

Expansion Valve - Too Much Water during Brew Cycle

I set the expansion valve during warm up. It is closed completely although the boiler pressure during warm up never reaches 12. It usually hits 10.5, a few dribbles of water come out, then drops back down to ~10.1 and hovers there; it cannot turn further closed though the dribbling of water stops. D...

Expansion Valve - Too Much Water during Brew Cycle

Hi! I've finally rebuilt a 2007/2008 GS3 and it is working perfectly - except for the Expansion Valve. When I run a shot, it ejects a large amount of water despite the pressure only reaching 9 bars. I've replaced it with a brand new one (the OG spring was bent and rusted) and have tried tightening a...

Replacing La Marzocco GS3's No Burn Steam Wand PTFE Tube?

I tried using several hooks, but I couldn't get it. Eventually, I replaced the whole steam wand assembly to the tune of $356. At some point, given that I got the tubing for <$20, I will get that bit of old tubing out and replace it. It is worth confirming from the new steam wand: there are two

Gaggia Classic shorting / tripping GFI

Is the water hot that's coming out of the steam boiler? It sounds like you still haven't found the short circuit (ie, it wasn't the rocker switch)...assuming it's a short
