Looking for picture of older female barista using lever machine

This link is not the original place it was posted on HB (which is in a thread about lever machine placement or the force needed to pull a lever I believe) but might be what you are looking for? "Ponte Vecchio Lusso or Bezzera Strega" {image}

Nurri Leva S. A.

There is little information on the machine out there at this point. If you get a chance take some pictures of the internals, piston assembly etc. It would be interesting to see the differences to the Vesuvius. Does the machine also use the tank when plumbed in? Is there a switch to change to plumbed...

Nurri Leva S. A.

Not sure what to make of this but the machine is silent during the extraction in Antonio's demo here {video}It sounds like there is an issue with the pump

Izzo Alex Leva no longer heats

Did you find a solution? The fact that it is still heating but only up to a certain temperature sounds like an issue with the temp probe and/or PID rather than the element. If you do a search you will also find some threads of Pro 800 users where the SSR failed over time

La San Marco 85 Leva one group, what do you think?

I suggest you reconfirm that with the dealer - the machine is mentioned to be a heat exchanger "here". Edit: the lever group looks like a retrofit on this machine so HX may just apply to the non leva version of the 85 single group

Stuck: Izzo Alex Leva or Profitec Pro 800

Thanks for all your input. I do not see an issue with the circuit. It is more of a question what the output of the element is at 100V. 14.8A at 115V translates to 1702 Watts and a resistance of 7.77 Ohm. 120V 1750 Watts translates to 8.22 Ohm resistance, 110V 1750Watts means 6.91 Ohm. A resistor sho...

Stuck: Izzo Alex Leva or Profitec Pro 800

I have a 20 A circuit. Admittedly it's not my area of expertise but with reference to your comments on wattage I suggest you "check this". The resistance of the heating element can be derived and doesn't change? Try applying the result to 100V

Stuck: Izzo Alex Leva or Profitec Pro 800

I could not find an Izzo parts list or supplier but the LSM 85 part at cafeparts is listed as 120V 1750 watts {link} There is some info on scratches, pressure gauges not inserted straight, leaks around the boiler neck over at the German site Kaffee Netz on this. Nothing major, I believe but a hassle...

Stuck: Izzo Alex Leva or Profitec Pro 800

I am in a similar situation looking at both machines. They are not available locally and personally I am leaning towards the leva. The shop I've spoken to has recommended the Pro 800 as there seem to be quality issues with the leva. Questions I cannot plumb initially but read the leva (like the lsm ...

La Marzocco Linea Mini zero bar steam

Update - the machine has worked fine since the last post. Today the service technician came and replaced the safety thermostat and the faulty connector. It does not seem to be a common issue but might be worthwhile checking for those who are still under warranty
