Mazzer Super Jolly lower burr carrier stuck! Various methods just don't work.

The other way to get it off is with long 4mm bolts/screws through bars on top of the housing. One bar for two fasteners and one bar for the odd man out. This will let you pull up on the rotating burr holder. Heat will help the burr holder let go of the armature. jpboyt

BES980 - Triac board repair/replace

The only thing to watch for is the varistors. They vary based on the 120vac and 240vac usage. No real deal going from 240vac use to 120vac as over rated varistor won't cause issues in and of itself. Using a 120 vac rated board may cause issues depending on rating of varistor. Still need some pics. I...

Pasquini Livia 90 S issue.

I believe that the Green light indicates whether or not the reservoir (cold water tank) is happy or not. Logic on the "S" control box is based on the three sensors. The reservoir, low level boiler, and boiler full. If the the reservoir sensor is not happy you will get no pump/fill solenoid or heat. ...

ECM gicar control box connector

You are probably looking for a Phoenix 1754546 7 contact. Every electronics part house on planet earth has them. Blatant exaggeration but I am the one typing. Careful with the Phoenix connectors, they come in two different spacing dimensions. One is a 2.5mm series and the other is a 0.100" series wh...

Will Compak K8 burrs fit in 83mm Ceado?

{image} {image} Hello, What is circled is poor machine finish left by a dull insert in a machine tool. Just as burrs get dull from "machining" coffee beans, machine tools also dull. The poor finish is caused by excessive tool pressure and the cutter is chattering. Loading and unloading. Since these,...

Rancilio Rocky burr (non)replacement frustration

To the question of "Do you change the bearing as a matter of fact?" the reason I have the motor torn apart is to change a dead bearing not for any particular performance improvement. But if you have it torn apart, good time to improve. The reason for the tighter grade bearing is almost all grinders ...

Rancilio Rocky burr (non)replacement frustration

If you have an appreciable amount of clearance in the bore of the rotating burr holder you are going to be dependent on the lower face (where it contacts inner race of bearing) of the holder to keep everything running true. If you have a lathe you can make up a split arbor to mount the holder and fa...

Need electrical advice: chattering after electromechanical relay mod

The chatter may be caused by the capacitor, that you added, parallel to the contacts in the P stat. A snubber circuit normally consists of a capacitor and a resistor not just a capacitor only. Using a capacitor only will have the discharge rate of the capacitor very fast and at a higher than expecte...

Auto-fill not stopping - Bad controller?

And if the flow meter is fed through the voltage regulator you would want to do preceding test for voltages between pin 1 and the ground lug of the 7805. Flow meters are most of the time fed unregulated DC but NS likes to use regulated on occasion which likes to heat up the regulator a bit. Your con...

Auto-fill not stopping - Bad controller?

Try jumping the pin four level sensor wire to the pin two ground wire and not the machine ground. This is the path of least resistance. You can loosen the four pin Phoenix connector and insert your probe wire. This should shut the water off. If it still runs on then measure the resistance of pin two...
