Ceado Opalglide burrs experience

There are reports about the SSPs not fitting in the Ceado burr carrier. That wasn't a risk I was willing to sign up for

Ceado Opalglide burrs experience

I have had my Ceado E37SD for nearly two years and purchased it right before they changed to the Opalglide burrs. There was some immediate FOMO as you can imagine, but I was able to squash those thoughts for a long while. The titanium burrs worked well for most beans, but they did have their flaws. ...

*Sigh* Ceado E37SD issues.

Not sure what to tell you.. if you have aligned the burrs, not sure what else it could be. Clogging can be frustrating. Make sure to RDT and pre-start the motor before dumping in the beans. I find static makes clogging more likely. For most blends/coffees I don't have an issue and can get fine enough

*Sigh* Ceado E37SD issues.

What kind of burrs does yours have? The original titanium coated or the new opalglide? I have the titanium coated burrs and your grinds look much more coarse than mine. If you have opalglide, my observation is probably not helpful. From the few posts I have seen, the set points with the opalglide ar...

New grinder woes (Ceado e37sd)

Are you using the water spritz bottle? Static can influence the retention quite a bit in my experience. I use one full spray for my 18g dose. The amount that gets held up in the chute can also vary. For this grinder, sweeping the chute is just part of the every-shot workflow. I wasn't a

Inconsistent shot times on Ceado E6P?

A couple things come to mind when reading your description. 1) 1kg isn't enough to fully season the burrs and may lead to grind variations. I have read 5-10kg may be needed. I didn't keep track of my own coffee throughput to provide a number, but it took a long while without grinding 'waste coffee'....

Ceado E37SD chute attachment

I just posted a third variation of the chute and lid to Thingiverse. Version 3 has a couple improvements. First, it now extends a little further out and down to enable a better distribution into the far side of the basket. And second, the inside of the lid is now cycloid shaped to redirect the coffe...

Ceado E37SD chute attachment

I picked up a Ceado E37SD a few months ago. Lets just say the honeymoon period was a bit of a let down. Most of which, I think, were my unrealistic expectations. But anyway, coming from a Barazta Vario, I historically dosed directly into the portafilter. Prepped the puck and off I went. The work
