thanks a lot! im really happy with this machine as well. found it by accident and couldnt believe what i got first....the only downside is that it has to stand in a corner, no appropriate space for the machine in my appartment. but i hope this will change someday... cheers, stefan

Faema Ariete with "angled" e61 group?
thanks for pointing me out on the pavoni. didnt even knew that pavoni made machines with e61 styled groups. but like bluecold mentioned: looks like a different group then on the ariete

Hello, my latest discovery, a Faema Ariete: {image} I like this machine, technically an E61 but with a simpler (and smaller) case, looking forward to restore it next winter. uhh...not sure if this is a good idea....dangerous because its possible to expose the heating element to air which might cause damage to it (and the heating element is not available anymore, so it would have to be custom made)

from my understanding the "steam wand" is just for hot water. no steam boiler included as the boiler is completely filled with water! else the velox wall mount machines are great! congrats on the buy!

Bezzera Strega - new spring lever for home use
belonged this 3000al is a nice little machine. the only strange thing should be the portafilter. in the german kaffee-netz there are a few people searching for a special portafilter for this machine (even if the group looks pretty much standard)
