BUNN LPG: How do my burrs look?
I have recently acquired a very manky BUNN LPG bulk grinder which I immediately tore down for rebuild. Having no experience with bulk grinders I am hoping the community could weigh in on the condition of the burrs before I drop $200 on a new set. Ive read these are designed for 30,000 lbs of service...

Toronto Area H-Bers
Dark City "sho-gun" or their ethiopian yirgacheffe was my go-to roast up until recently. Both were available in small quantities 2-3 days past roast from Cherry Bomb on Roncesvalles. I understand Cherry Bomb owner Sarah Ostwald is now roasting her own as Spitfire Coffee Roasters (not to be confused ...

Old Soul Seeks Vintage Lever Pull
The two variables in espresso extraction that are most closely tied to the machine itself are temperature and extraction pressure. I would consider how much control you desire over these two factors when setting your sights on a vintage home lever. Open boiler machines (Caravel, LaPeppina) offer the...

Vibe-to-Rotary Pump Conversion Wiring Questions
Erik; well done! You have completed what I had hoped to achieve with that machine but never got around to. Looks like you have bypassed the main water off/on valve on the front of the machine? Overall a very nice installation... lets see a video!

Identify this used grinder?
I believe the Best to be adequate for the home environment but at $175 + cost of new burrs I would be tempted to search for a used Vario in the sub $300 range unless you are specifically looking for something vintage
