Took out the burrs and cleaned them up. They look new and sharp so they are fine. Calibrated the burr alignment with the lid and everything is good again. Working perfectly

Everything is good again. I changed out the flapper which stopped the grinds going everywhere. I also needed to recalibrate the burr alignment. It's quite a bit off from the factory marks

I just finished a tear down to see what I could find. The flapper is definitely worn out as the little teeth are facing out. Also, there was some caked in grinds around the flapper that could haven't been helping. I just finished putting it back together and will test in a bit to see how it grinds. ...

So the back pressure then keeps the grinds in the burrs longer for the consistent grind? I'm not sure I can go much lower on the grind setting
