Francesco Ceccarelli site buying question

It's also August in Italy so he may be on vacation until the end of the month- that's what I'd do if I could!

Cool- what's your favorite thing about that kettle? Does it heat fast? What's their warranty on it?

Stagg variable temperature control electric kettle (Kickstarter)

Tom- The revised spout tip and metal lid are miles better on the newer Stagg models, plus with the weight in the handle, the balance is way batter than other kettles I've used. I think you'll find that they, (Fellow) value their customers and will respond to feedback which is why the change was made...

Zacconi vintage groups - Riviera Eagle - piston seals

Newbie - Just bought a vintage La Pavoni

Hi jerry- Yep it's a premillenium. 110 volts so no re-wiring required, you'll want to remove the bottom cover and inspect the wiring check for rust or any clues to leaks. You'll need either a stubby phillips or a Torx bit (I think a T-10) depending on the year. Check your lever pins for wear, if the...

Summer in Italy

Thank you so much for sharing those! I wish that the USA wasn't a percolator culture back then, maybe we could have designed something as nice a these. I love the "atomic" design of the 1950's and it's really sad to compare these older machine's to today's "Boxes" rolling out of factories. No more i...

Repaint of an Olympia Cremina frame

Really nice breakdown, thanks for that! I noticed that Rustoleum now has a high temp version of "hammered metal" and I thought about trying that on a new project of mine. I've tried a few rattle can options before and liked the "appliance epoxy" paint the best so far, would you say the stuff you use...

Coffees that are great as espresso or drip

Has anyone tried Retrofit from Blue Bottle? I had it on Chemex and it really surprised me how good it was. I might say I liked it better than as espresso
