Coffee taste quality and flat burrs size.
Eureka XL is a very good grinder. And with SD hopper a capabele SD grinder as well. The 65 mm "diamond inside" burrs are good quality. Taste profile is mellow I would say. I have both NZ and XL and like them both. For medium roast not that much difference. XL just a bit smoother in my opinion. I

Ponte Vecchio Export
Nice machine! Number 4 Had two of these in the past. Shot volume is small. With 1.5 pull my estimate is 20-25 grams max. For 30 grams you would need a double Fellini... But better to stay with small shots...Exports really shine in the ristretto range! Have fun!

Mahlkonig X54 Burrs into Baratza Vario/Forte?
I thought the X54 were less 'unimodal'. More like the ceramics. The Ditting steel burrs for Vario/Forte are pretty 'unimodal' and very good for light roast and brew. While the ceramics having a more traditional burr profile. I have not tested the X54 burrs but I would expect these to be more like th...

Olympia Express 'Mocha SD' grinder offering
Olympia seems to be doing the same trick as Eureka did with the XL to creat the SD: tilting the grinder and redesigning the chute. Would be great if there is no need for bellows. Interestingly the new P version of the DF64 will not be tilted anymore

Electric grinder equivalent to Kinu M47 for espresso?
I believe I did not read the first post good enough: I assumed ExpressoSo was having a Kinu M47 already! Hence my remark that with only 2-3 shots a week an electric grinder makes little sense. Good to hear the stalling issues are resolved and were only a first batch problem. The DF64 is a good choic...

Electric grinder equivalent to Kinu M47 for espresso?
What is the problem of grinding for 2-3 shots a week by hand? The Kinu grinds pretty fast. I doubt the Lagom mini is any quicker. And that motor is not very powerful so stalling might be a problem with lighter roasts. At least that is what I heard. I consider the Lagom mini more a filter grinder. Or...

Electric grinder equivalent to Kinu M47 for espresso?
1 shot a day 2-3 days a week...keep your Kinu M47 hand grinder! with so few shots an electric grinder makes no sense. besides you nee to spend a lot of money as your are 'needing' a single dose grinder or purge... if you 'want' a grinder with motor a Niche Zero comes to my mind... to
