Foil Bags
Hey fellow roasters, I am looking to stop using paper bags to be storing beans that my friends and family purchase of me to a more professional foil bag. I have searched quite a bit online to try to find one that the cost is not so drastic of a difference with the paper tin-tie. I found some

Custom roaster on ebay
I have his 2 lb roaster...I don't like to max it out by putting a full 2 pounds in the machine. It usually takes between 14-17 minutes

Starbucks Coffee

Newbie needs coffee recommendations for roasting
I would also try Kevin at Thetaridge coffee. They are based in South Bend IN. Though they don't post their prices on the web they can mail you out a newsletter. I order approx 60-80lbs of green beans a month and my bill works out with shipping to be right around 3.50/lb Hope this helps,

Whats In Your Coffee Roaster This Week
Well, this week I am roasting two different types of coffee. The first one is a new espresso blend. This is a 4-part blend with a Brazilian base. The second one is a three part blend with Sumatra/Sidamo/Costa Rica - I have had quite a few people say they enjoy its deep base!

Roasting 101s: Cupping while standing on one leg
Another_Jim, so are you saying to cup the coffee as soon as it is done roasting? If that is the case won't you miss out on part of the flavor seeing how you are not allowing the beans to degas? Thanks Steve
