To Descale or Not To Descale

VST/ Strada Basket for Silvia

The only two sizes that the HQ come in are 14g and 21g or is there another size. For my QM the biggest that I can use without going to a bottomless pf is 18g

Coffee storage, CO2, and taste

Does it become easier to insert portafilter as the gasket ages?
