La Marzocco Linea Mini - 240V vs 110V which would you buy?

I was checking on the size of my GS3 and it also has a 3.5L steam boiler. So the Linea and the GS3 have the same size steam boiler. But a 240V driven heat element with 20% more watts will heat up faster as a scientific fact. I've never ran out of steam power with my GS3 on 230V here

La Marzocco Linea Mini - 240V vs 110V which would you buy?

"Once the machine comes to temperature, it's the same machine at 120 or 240 volts" This is the important thing. I don't turn off my machines ever. But recuperating steam as you use it can be very important from a boiler. Also if you are serving a bunch of friends you are running through the heat cha...

La Marzocco Linea Mini - 240V vs 110V which would you buy?

Im sure Guarantee's are worldwide with who or whomever you buy from. After all it is La Marzocco. And I know the whole team and they are very helpful whenever anything goes wrong. La Marzocco Linea Mini - 240V vs 110V which would you buy?

I've scanned an image of both of the Linea Mini Specifications USA and European and its interesting to see that the Amperage is almost double on the 110V Machine 14amp giving 1620 Watts, while the 240V is 8.3Amp gives 1820 Watts. This would mean the European model would win the time race. Maybe not ...

Hi All Its been a while since I posted as everything is running smoothly. Buying a second home in the US on Cape Cod and will be buying a Linea Mini for it. I have the GS3 here in France, but the Linea's spec's are impressive and being an experienced Barista I'm confident I will be able to dial in

Brita Water destroyed my GS3 (cartridge pitcher type)

This brings up a good question. Is the Brita cartridge water safe for the world to drink ? It seems to deplete some waters starting out not too hard to zero. This would have a similar effect of almost drinking demineralized water doesn't it ? It would also leech out the minerals in your body ? Maybe...
