E61 machine 'soupy' pucks and low back flush pressure.
Hi all! After 8 years of faithful service, Expobar Brewtus IV has recently exhibited symptoms I'm having trouble diagnosing. Lately, after brewing, my pucks are quite 'soupy' and the pressure released when back flushing or just ending a shot is considerably less. Wondering if it's the opv or maybe s...

Thanks. It's a vibratory pump. If it is the case with the pump valve, what would be the cause / remedy?

No Brew Pressure - Bad OPV? (Expobar Brewtus IV)
I've been having trouble with my brew pressure for a week or two on my Expobar Brewtus. It's been very slow to ramp the pressure up, and wouldn't achieve the full 8-9 bars on a shot. I had adjusted my OPV a few weeks prior. Yesterday, I tried adjusting the OPV again to see if that was the

Expobar Brewtus IV: PID Brew Temperature Rising Past Setpoint
Received my Brewtus a week ago and started it up as per the instructions. That first evening, I noticed the PID reading ~210-213 degrees for a few moments. I had it set at 198. Offset is 18 degrees. Haven't noticed the problem since. Just wondering what would cause this?

Received some Yirg for free. Where to start?
A buddy of mine gave me a couple of pounds of Yirg. He gave me no info on it. Although he did mention he has trouble getting it into 2C in his Hottop. I don't know anything more about processing method, etc. Gonna roast some in the Behmor this afternoon. Any hints on where to start?

Sour Gummy Worms Shot?
Curious to know how long the coffee rested after roasting. It may mellow with a couple of day's rest. How would he slow the shot without grinding finer? Increase dose?
