I am DESPERATE to get good microfoam...HELP!

Yup, that's the one I have. BTW, this morning when I steamed my milk, it came out almost perfect! I had incredible microfoam-although I still need some work and practice to get rid of those excess bubbles-but overall definitely better than the last few days. I took your advice and kept the tip eleva...

I am DESPERATE to get good microfoam...HELP!

Thanks Gus & Howard! I appreciate your wonderful advice. I think you're right. Just when it seems that I am getting there, something like the fiasco I poured this morning happened. Frustrating, to say the least. I didn't realize you can replace the tips of your steaming wand. Where is the best place...

I am DESPERATE to get good microfoam...HELP!

I think I know exactly the sound you're referring to, actually. Maybe that is why I have to steam longer-it's a slower process on the Expobar?

I am DESPERATE to get good microfoam...HELP!

Thanks Beezer, I appreciate your quick response. I do need to breathe, you're correct. I am so frustrated about this, especially when I routinely get the desired results, however it's inconsistent at this point. I always, always use whole milk, not organic. When I tried using organic milk I pretty m...

I am DESPERATE to get good microfoam...HELP!

I apologize as I know this has been asked many times before and I'm sure there are many threads about this exact issue/problem. But I really need to have this be about me right now. Seriously. My machine is definitely capable of doing this task-Expobar Office Lever-and although I have accomplished i...

Steaming Skim Plus Fat-Free Milk?

Thanks for that explanation. I KNEW I wasn't crazy. I thought, how could my technique literally change that much overnight? Now I know. I definitely don't need to stick with that brand (the one that isn't foaming right), and now I know to buy the other brand that is giving me excellent results. Than...

Steaming Skim Plus Fat-Free Milk?

I was going to post this in a new thread, but since I see this is very similar, I will go ahead and state my problem, except in this case, I always use whole milk. I have noticed that since I changed milk brands the last day or two, my milk frothing technique has been horrible. To the point

La Pavoni ZIP grinder vs. Mazzer

I noticed that. At first I thought I was losing my mind with not being able to find my thread. Thanks for clarifying

La Pavoni ZIP grinder vs. Mazzer

There is one on eBay that I'm watching, and it looks like a really good grinder, but it's used. I wasn't sure the level of this, is it comparable to a Mazzer Super Jolly or Mini? I currently have the Gaggia MDF burr grinder, so I imagine it's better than that one, but need to upgrade soon because

Leaking from my Expobar Office Lever

Thanks you guys. I appreciate all of that. It's really good to know I have a place to come when I have questions and need answers. This is obviously the place to get those answers. I will research all of those options, especially for a new grinder, because that is definitely something I've known for...
