Share your espresso machine history
Mine is quick, and not likely to be happy here. 1. B&D bubble machine. Folgers ground. 2. Read way to much internet. 3. Bought dead S27 and rebuilt it, added Mazzer Major. 4. Bought a la Peppina, old lever. 5. A new cheap ceramic grinder that fits on the

Zacconi Venezia Arte - thermal switch or heating element gone?
First off take all measurements with the unit unplugged. Second, get yourself a ohm-meter. Even a little harbor freight cheep give away meter is fine. Set it to read resistance. Disconnect the two connectors circled below on your photo. You will do the first test on these two tabs on the bottom of t...

Espresso pump and motor stopped
Start with the collar on the motor, which in your photo is on the right. You may need to loosen the other side to give yourself some more wiggle room. Also, since the pump has not been working, the boiler may be low on water. So when you go to test the pump, unplug the heater element

Espresso pump and motor stopped
Before you check anything else make sure your boiler fill probe has not come loose. That can cause some issues on certain machines. Like any time you have a pump/motor problem the first step is to separate the two and find out if you have a pump problem/or a motor problem. Disconnect the power and u...

Rancilio S27 Rebuild/Repair Started
it is and engineering question. If you have X coils next to a heater that boils, how many coils next to a overheated heater or what would the pressure change be? What delta change is safe? What delta change is not safe? They solved this in a straight line way with the tube, a tube this
