Thanks! Sorry for the off topic..I've been using the 15g VST at around ~13.5g, with good results. Will have to try the stock at 14g

Salvatore, Just out of curiosity. Which basket are you using in your L1 to dose 14g? VST 15g, stock, or other? Thanks!

I tried single dosing, but I prefer the results with beans on the hopper. There is a static and anti-clumping feature, which allows adjustments via a side screw. All the way open and there is no clumping, but lots of static. closed down completely and there is no static whatsoever with just a little...

Ceado E37 owner experience

I do have some experience...not a lot as I've only owned for 2 weeks. it is solid, and I prefer the results (taste/consistency) in the cup better than the Baratza Vario and the OE Pharos. However, it comes with grind retention/waste challenges of big doserless commercial grinders

Pharos for light roasts (mostly) ?

In my experience, light roast/hard beans can be a bit problematic for the Pharos. 1) more effort needed, 2) keeping the alignment of the burrs in place as there is more force being applied to the burr outer ring

Brew temperature and steaming

You should be using a cooling flush as a way to regulate the brew temperature, rather than the pstat. Are you flushing before brewing?
