Channeling on a Elektra A3, Compak K3 grinder
Looking at your videos I would say that the flow rate is rather high. Try to measure it! The ideal empty shot flow rate is somewhere between 2-3 oz (60-90ml) / 10sec. Any flow rate higher than this potentially leads to channeling problems. Try to change the group jet to a 0.6mm one!

Bezzera Selenia temperature problem
There is an adjustable capillary thermostat in the Selenia. If you remove the side panels, you will see a black turn knob with numbers on it, that is the adjusting knob of the thermostat. I would say that the low pump noise is because you are extracting your shot around 12-14 bar (no OPV)

That Maximatic on the picture and the video is mine. It also had the Fluid-o-Tech pump and the flow restrictor orifice in place, but believe me the OPV is a huge benefit for the machine. The Fluid-o-Tech bypass valve is an easy fit and does its job. With the OPV the machine is much more tolerant

Adjusting OPV on Gaggia New Baby
That plastic thing is the OPV in the New Baby series and yes you can set it to 10 bar by unscrewing the part connecting to the silicone tube. It is important that you must use some threadlocker (Loxeal, Loctite etc) when you put the things together
