My First Crown Jewel - A Lesson Learned

Wow, I just received a 22lbs box of the Crown Jewel Ethiopian Decaf, and the bag was split in the box at the same place. I will notify Royal. It is obviously a bag defect they should be aware of. I picked up every one of those precious beans off of the floor with no worries... Now

I have had good success achieving very consistent and predictable results with the following routine. IMS NanoQuartz screens now available in USA

I have had a similar positive experience with the IMS nanoquartz screen. I have been using it on my Slayer for about 4 months with no noticeable deterioration of the coating. I backflush with detergent and lightly scrub will a Pallo group brush regularly. I use the machine daily for ~ 4 drinks. I ha...

Slayer Single Group Maintenance

There is a thread on this topic if you search "Backflush with or without shower screen". I follow Slayer's recommendation to leave a screen in place during a backflush. One poster also mentions LM in Florence as recommending the same. I am not sure I fully buy into a severe risk in backflushing with...

Huky 500 propane connection broke

From the picture, it looks like the regulator screws into the internal threads on the propane tank. If so, I believe those are reverse threaded. You loosen the connection by turning clockwise. (Reverse of normal) If you used a lot of force turning it counter-clockwise trying to loosen it, that might...
