Hi Beanz, I am delighted that you are very happy with RoastLogger. I try to keep it as simple and easy to set up and use as possible. To keep it simple I have to limit the number of options available to those of benefit to the majority of users. The RoastLogger manual was written in

RoastLogger - help change range of ROR scale

That sounds really extraordinary. The save dialog is a standard Java dialog which should behave correctly on any OS. I develop and use RoastLogger on OS X (all versions from 10.6 to 10.9.5) and also regularly test it on Ubuntu and various versions of Windows. These tests include various versions of ...

RoastLogger - help change range of ROR scale

Thank you for your kind words guys. I will add the functionality to allow the RoR axis maximum and minimum values to be adjusted but will keep the current values as the defaults as I think they provide the best compromise for most users. This is certainly possible and is done at the moment when savi...

Thermocouple upgrade for Hottop gone bad

It is good to hear that you have this sorted Thanks to JohnB for the information on the fuse, I was not aware that this was fitted to current Hottop models. My older Hottops, with an earlier version of the fusible link, do not have this fuse. From a very quick look on the Hottop
