Yay! I'm a much happier camper (newbie home-barista) tonight. One of those pounds I bought today yielded a fairly tasty pour. Still a bit fast, at 19 seconds, but not as messy or fast as my problem shots. My next shot was a bit sour, but I tried to stretch it out to 20 seconds.

I did pick up a couple of pounds at two places this afternoon, who claim their beans are under a week old from local roasters. I'll try those out tonight. After checking out
