Fixing up a La Pavoni Europiccola

You could replace the pad with silicone sealant. It will be difficult to get a nice finish but you'll only see it when you open it up. Squeeze it on as best you can and smooth it with a knife, spoon or finger dipped in isopropyl alcohol

Does anybody have/had both a Gen 1, and a Gen 2 modified to a flooded group? Can you comment on what each is like for pulling multiple consecutive shots?

also make sure that the contacts that go down into the tank make a good contact with the cradle and the case of the machine. clean these with a scotchbrite and bend the pins a little if necessary. This is often a soure of problemo
