SSP Red for Mazzer Mini E doserless
Hi; I keep reading about the SSP Red for the Mazzer Mini E doserless and can't come to a conclusion. I'm wondering if anyone could sum it up for me and tell me if you feel it's a worthwhile upgrade?

VBM Domobar Super HX - Leak at overheat sensor
Hello; We have a VBM Domobar Super HX, we got new in early 2016 or so. The heating element failed (boiler and element were very clean with physical inspection) and when working on the machine, we broke off the overheat sensor. It did not seem to have a gasket on it, just teflon tape. We got

Vibiemme HX switching between tank and plumbed-in
Hello; I'm looking for a diagram / direction on which direction the switch / level on the bottom should be in for tank / vs line. For some reason, I can't find this detailed in the manual I have for the machine (perhaps it's not the manual for the switchable?) Thank you

VBM - wet pucks, shots pulling fast
Thanks again for your help. I've heard of switching the burrs in this unit. Is the advantage that it grinds faster?

VBM - wet pucks, shots pulling fast
I have a 3 ounce insulated shot glass, so it gives me some reference point, but a 2 ounce or even small glass might be more helpful. I often pull right into cups that are either 5.5 or 6 ounces, which is convenient, for making traditional caps, but also makes it harder to judge how much coffee you h...

VBM - wet pucks, shots pulling fast
The filtered water is run off a pressure tank that feeds this machine, the ice maker and a faucet, so changes in the house line pressure would not change the pressure of the filtered water. It's possible the ice maker could be pulling from it during the time I'm using the machine, but it doesn't fil...

VBM - wet pucks, shots pulling fast
I'm using {link} and they call it a 3 cup, so does that mean it technically is supposed to be dosed even higher? "In addition, our bottomless portafilters have true size three cup filter baskets unlike any other."

VBM - wet pucks, shots pulling fast
After pulling around a dozen shots today, I'm not sure I'm that far off in terms of how the shots are turning out. My puck may still be slightly wet, but the last shot I pulled turned out pretty well. 20 grams, around 1 ounce of espresso, good crema in about 25 seconds. I think

VBM - wet pucks, shots pulling fast
Brew lever raised with machine off and I'm getting right about 2.4. I do not have any type of pressure regulator on the filter setup. I just doubled checked the VBM setup manual and it says to make sure that number is not above 4. So I'm guessing 2.4 is okay, unless it is too low?
