Looking for double basket for Conti Comocafe, any suggestions?
Thanks for all the suggestions, I will see that I get a Zacconi and a Krups basket and just give them a try and then report back. Hopefully one of them will fit. The best way to get one of the Krups baskets might be to bid on a broken Krups on ebay, they often go for less than the

Looking for double basket for Conti Comocafe, any suggestions?
Dear fellow lever lovers, I've got a Conti Comocafe which I quite enjoy using, but unfortunately it only came with an original single basket and a double basket that somewhat fits, but definitely is not original. The single basket has a flat ridge, whereas the double basket has a round ridge and onl...

Anonymous Hand Grinder
I think I just realized why they quoted old German hand grinders as inspiration: The geometry of the conical burrs seems to be inspired by them. The upper part of the inner burr is made with a very shallow angle that might help to feed beans into the actual "crushing part" of the burrs at low revolu...

1 year with La Peppina
The secure lid has been done already, the Mini Gaggia has exactly that, not well ventilated though. Still, it's probably the most "lawyer-proof" (semi-)open-boiler machine Cheers, Roland

Mahlgut grinder (Kind of Pharos-ish)
Now if only the Pharos was actually available... I have been checking back often, as advised by oehandgrinders.com, but never found it in stock. Might need to start saving for the expensive knock-off, as it's still cheaper than the HG1 and looks quite well made

Hand (grinder) Jive - a photo essay
Hi grog, thanks for your reply. I'm currently looking into which grinders might still be interesting. I'm very fond of the Dienes Mokka 88, of which I've got three, very nice grind quality and sturdy build. Would you say that the Peugeot, or any other of your hand grinders, is better than the Dienes...
