Profitec Pro 700 Review
Cool, thanks. At least I have a reference point to start from and can tweak to taste from there. Looks like Profitec did their homework quite well then

Profitec Pro 700 Review
I believe you sent spares of these in the original kit? If so then I should still have them. Sending small bits to the UK would probably be silly money I suspect

Profitec Pro 700 Review
That gave you a good correlation between the temperature you set on the PID and the shot temperatures which you measured then?

Profitec Pro 700 Review
Hi, I have just purchased a Profitec 700 here in the UK to replace an old Isomac Rituale which was becoming too troublesome and needing constant repair (mainly due to scale related issues). Dan, can I ask what was your T1 set to and what was temperature offset (E1) in the PID when you were taking th...

E61 grouphead thermometer and HX cooling flush recovery
Similar for sure, though part of my issue seems to be that the group cool-down continues for too long and drops a long way meaning a slow return. I also only get an idle temp of 209F with a 1.4bar pstat max. I have issues even with the first shot, if I flush to 185F it is nearly 6 minutes

Slow group temperature rebound on Isomac Rituale
This is a chart from some measurements taken today. I flushed from an indicated group idle temperature of 202.5F (temperature peaked in teh flush at 214.5F) down to 913F (which took 25 seconds) which is when the cahrt starts. My pressurestat is cycling between 1.1 & 1.35 bar., protafilter out, measu...

Slow group temperature rebound on Isomac Rituale
Hi, I recently got one of Eric's thermometer adapaters to fit on my Isomac Rituale, but am seeing some odd behaviour in the temperatures I am reading. I am using the supplied digital thermometer currently. To give a bit of background, I have just stripped and re-built the machine after finding consi...

Trouble with an Isomac Rituale
Haha! The transformer finally arrived today. Just a quick couple of wire links added to parallel up the 2 secondary windings, bend 2 pins under and solder it in. Popped the controller back together and put it in the machine this evening. 2 hours later and all was still working fine, so problem solve...

Trouble with an Isomac Rituale
Another update. Harrumph, the transformer did not arrive today which was annoying, I want to get the machine back together as we have a first time buyer coming to view the house on Friday, so need not to have the machine in bits all over the dining table! Anyway in frustration and to prove a point
