Plumbing an espresso machine without drain
I'm not familiar with that machine, but on my Expobar there were new fittings and a solenoid valve I added where the water line comes in. The fitting going to the solenoid kept leaning on mine. I had to put Teflon tape on it and tighten it down pretty tight to get it to stop. I also had leaks where

Plumbing an espresso machine without drain
Exactly. Most of the leaks I've dealt with plumbing in my machine were inside the machine and nowhere near the drain

Review of beta Decent Espresso DE1PRO+
I love the idea they are going after here, but for me, I feel like it would data paralysis. So many variables, different beans, etc. However, my hope would be that the community would eventually settle around a few profiles that most people agree make the best espresso with most beans. Perhaps it co...

Eric E61 Thermometer Flushing on Rocket Appartamento Temperature Questions
This is also consistent with what I get on my Expobar Lever. I've found that I need to flush roughly 6oz of water for the long initial cooling flush

Expobar - Pump runs on power on
Ha - its gets the cats moving too here! Good. I wont worry then. Must be a result of it shutting off hot and then turning on when its cold. I took the case off again today to tweak the boiler temp and didn't see any evidence of leaking. I let it heat up and watched it for

Spitting Valve
Isn't a little spitting from this valve normal as the machine heats up? Mine has a new valve and will spit for a few seconds until you hear it finally close as the machine gets up to temp. There's a version of this valve floating around somewhere that has a tube you can connect to drain the water fr...

Expobar - Pump runs on power on
I have my Expobar Office Lever on a timer so it comes on before I wake up (theoretically). Lately, I've noticed that every time it comes on, the pump runs for a few seconds. I understand it does this to fill the boiler if the sensor detects water is needed. I don't remember if it used to do this every

E61 To go?
Yeah, looks like a trade show demo kind of thing. I do like the idea of as minimal footprint as possible - especially for a plumbed in machine. There's a lot of empty space inside my Expobar

E61 To go?
Looks like an amazing machine. WAY out of my price range. But who wants a suitcase E61?
