Get water out of Rancilio Silvia for shipping?

Do I just run the pump to get all the water out of the boiler? Or is that harmful for the pump? Shipping to the buyer. I think I'm going to try the double box technique, unless someone can offer any other helpful hints

Thanks! Yes, I will try lowering the pressure to see what happens. Your description has very close similarities to what I'm seeing. My generation silvia has the adjustable opv so it should be pretty easy, just have to look in the manual to see how many turns = how much change in bars

Good used grinder models

I've seen some pics on here where people put a thin piece of sheet metal cut to the appropriate size there and use the same bolt holes that the doser used. You can just use a "chute" from bent sheet metal too, i've see people do that with rocky's. I think here was some people on here who

You might not want to take that doser off, you might get some clumping issue and wind up having to do the WDM distribution technique, which in my situation is necessary but a pain in the asssssssssss
