Cause of wiring harness short?

Less likely to be a short (in the original problem area) and probably a poor electrical connection. When a location in a circuit breaks down (increased resistance) the current flowing through heats up the area until something starts arcing which melts/fails things. After that connection fails (and t...

Looking for a good single serve coffee machine

I absolutely love my OXO Brew-8 and use it often for single serve cups. It is not a dedicated single serve brewer as it does both a good 8 cup carafe (about 48oz, so 4 "large" cups) too, but also comes with a single serve cone basket holder as well. I use it with Kalita 185 filters.

Our water is always generally quite hard which likely never changes much, but one day will be great and the next day the entire neighborhood is asking why the water started tasting funny

Novice needs first real grinder...cheap?

I just have no experience with it, so really hard for me to comment on it. That said, when i originally came across a comment about the Shardor grinder that I took a chance on, the original poster ALSO purchased the one you linked to as well a little later on, and was NOT overly happy with it.

Shardor "Cheap" 35 Step Conical Grinder - Kind of Impressed!

So about 4 months later, I have nothing much more to say about this grinder except that it is still working as well now as it did when new. I grind about 68g per day on it (50g for a "6 cup" drip coffee run and another 18g for an espresso) and it remains completely static free

Novice needs first real grinder...cheap?

I said it back then, and I'll say it again - still kinda impressed (see link below). I am still using this grinder (along with a couple others) for both drip coffee with my OXO Brew-8 (which I also remain very happy with) as well as with espresso. It remains static FREE. Like totally! Air here is

Niche Zero - Hypersensitivity of grind setting

REALLY REALLY carefully inspect the threads as if it is that consistently off, the only thing I could think of is that there is a defect right near that point in the adjustment? It may not be even be visible perhaps... I would be talking to Niche as a warranty issue
