What should the temperature of the espresso be in the cup?
I know the recommended temp of the water coming out of the brewhead should be around 200 degrees; but indulge me. What should the temp of the espresso be in the cup then? My scenario would be you pull your shot and immediately after filling - all things being equal - measure the temp ~ ~ what should

I messed up my Starbucks Barista Grinder/Solis 166
Ok, first off I'm a monkey. I over torqued the timer on/off switch on the starbucks barista because it would not grind my beans. As a result 2 things happened. 1) I broke the knob at the switch connection 2) my wife is annoyed. So in my genius move I thought I could replace the timer switch

Starbucks Barista pump works no water out of grouphead
Water won't come out the group head Starbucks barista. Help? 4 yrs old. steam works ok. Water is super soft so no real scaling problem (Vancouver BC). thanks

How do I get my Oscar Simonelli drip tray clean? It's black and a few years old - there is kind of a buildup of something which won't come off with normal soap and water - tried fantastic and some other sprays but no luck - any ideas on to bring back the original shiny blackness?

Got Advice On Cleaning A Used Zassenhaus?
what is a good model of Zassenhaus to get - i have a simonelli oscar...can they all the hand cranked ones do a decent job for espresso or it just a collectable? on ebay there are many models..like the 106 or the "mokkka" etc...which is good? thanks

Putting Nuova Simonelli Oscar on a timer and loud pop/noise at turn on
I was thinking of installing a vacuum too; but found an alternate technique seems to work for me. My Oscar is on a timer; but usually in the evening I open up the steam knob completely for about 5 minutes (machine is off). If i apply my hand to the steam wand I can feel residual air from steam
