Flushing routine for prosumer vs. commercial espresso machines

I've got a similar Laurentis machine, and I installed a thermocouple and inexpensive PID as a temperature monitor. I followed the lead of godlyone who I believe had the same machine as you. Here's one of his photos from his "refurb thread" that shows where the thermocouple is inserted for this group...

DIY Rancilio Silvia V3 wand conversion to "burnless"

Jonny - very nice DIY! I may have to give this a try since I can't seem to find an aftermarket burnless wand for my CMA/Laurentis. Thanks for providing the instructions

My first rennovation: Astoria Single Group, Model ?

I'll be interested to find out if the auto-fill solenoid on your machine is loud when activated/deactivated. I have a similar machine (Laurentis restore in "here"), and my auto-fill makes a loud CLACK. My 2 group Pasquini makes timid click by comparison

I don't know about Hydropure in particular, but the bypass in the Procons can be disassembled and cleaned

Perhaps something stuck in the pump's bypass mechanism that's preventing it from closing?
