Far as I know the only difference between the 2 motors is a internal gear ratio that's different by 2-1. No clue what's better. Pull of the right side and fine the sensor bolted to the right rear side of the chamber. 2 small white wires as I remember. You can also add a resistor in series to make it think the temperature is lower. Or maybe it's in parallel, I forget. Use a switch so you can take it in and out
