Elektra Microcasa a Leva optimised cappuccino

I think what rplavis describes is the classic cappuccino - 1/3 espresso, 1/3 steamed milk, 1/3 foam. What Drgary describes is the classic latte - microfoamed milk mixed evenly in with espresso. Both marvelous drinks, but different construction and drinking experiences. I like them both!

Overpressure valve for Conti Prestina

Cafeparts has OPVs for Conti's - look at their boiler page. May not specifically be for the Prestina, but they give the measurements, thread specs, etc. The part I'm looking at is about $25.00

Conti Prestina redlined

My experience has been that this sort of behavior is usually due to a malfunctioning pressurestat. Haven't had it happen on the Prestina, but it has occurred with our Elektra. Did the safety valve engage?

Conti Prestina portafilter flange leak

I had a flange leak, as well. But mine definitely was due to the o-ring site! {image} I'm not sure whether it started life as an o-ring or a gasket, but a new 0-ring sealed things nicely

Source for Conti Prestina piston seals?

I need to replace the piston seals in my Prestina. Allann Bros. tells me that they no longer carry Conti parts They referred me to SproParts.com, but they do not appear to be familiar with the lever machines. Does anyone have other suggestions for USA or Canadian suppliers? Or the correct
