ACS Vesuvius Evo Leva owner experience
Now that I actually *have* the beast, I have some comments and questions. There is a lightbulb icon next to the on/off button instead of a C/F. I suspect I have some Vostok software in my machine? Th group and brew temperatures were both set to low 90 degree celsius, very far from the manual's recom...

ACS lever safety system
That makes sense. I wonder how it is demonstrated in the above videos. I guess the water is running. I'll try it and see

ACS lever safety system
My EVO Leva arrived and it's lovely, but the safety system doesn't engage. The lever just comes up very hard and fast and makes a loud bang at the top. The shower screen has the screw in it... Am I missing a setup step? Matt

It arrived, it's beautiful, and I've suddenly become a better roaster, as my disappointing batch used for testing is delicious. However! No assembly instructions, and I put a little dent in the case by screwing up trying to get the feet on. Well, first scratch in the car... It looks like it comes wi...

Who's still buying conventional tampers?
I had an interesting experience. I was using a spirograph WDT device, but not on a perfectly level surface. Well, the grounds were not level to the basket. Even though I tamped with a leveling tamper, the shots were still noticeably one-sided. Moral of the story: grounds distribution >> tamping

I waited for the snag, but it was quick in coming . I just got the all-clear five minutes ago, so the process seems to work. Now to see if it arrives undamaged!

Congratulations. I had the same conversation with DHL today, but they said "check back on the 25th". Today was the expected (ho ho!) delivery date

ACS waiting times
I tried again to convince US Customs of the manufacturer's address. This is the best I could come up with Elcor-S.r.l Via Malatesta, 39 B, 80049 Somma Vesuviana, Naples, Italy Does anyone have a better address for the ACS factory? DHL says they're on the case, but I haven't heard anything from them....

I expected a customs exception for paying an import duty, but what I received this morning was a request for the full name and address of the manufacturing facility. I have already sent a query to Maria at ACS, but has anyone else had this issue arise? It's a new one in my experience. Thanks, Matt
