ACS Vesuvius Evo Leva owner experience
Understood, and I figured out the latching mechanism on the first try. I'm not in the least concerned about the left side's tiny mark, but it does suggest that the machine got a good wack at some point. As I said above, PLEASE make any video, no matter how simple. More people (by an order or two of ...

YES! No video is too basic. And anyone watching who thinks it is gets to feel superior, so everyone is happy! (I was a math professor for a decade and believed that every time someone asked a question, ten other people had the same question but were afraid to admit it.)

ACS Vesuvius Evo Leva owner experience
Looking at the left side, I see some small damage to the finish where a side impact from the panel would hit it. I couldn't have caused that, so I don't know what to think. I will, as you suggested, send all of these pictures to ACS (through Maria?) and see what they say. {image} Matt

ACS lever safety system
The same argument has been used against seat belts, air bags, antilock brakes, and helmets. Of course we should treat machines with high temperatures, pressures, electricity, and stored mechanical energy as if they were dangerous. Because they ARE. I'm still glad to have whatever safety features I c...

Now that I actually *have* the beast, I have some comments and questions. There is a lightbulb icon next to the on/off button instead of a C/F. I suspect I have some Vostok software in my machine? Th group and brew temperatures were both set to low 90 degree celsius, very far from the manual's recom...

That makes sense. I wonder how it is demonstrated in the above videos. I guess the water is running. I'll try it and see

ACS lever safety system
My EVO Leva arrived and it's lovely, but the safety system doesn't engage. The lever just comes up very hard and fast and makes a loud bang at the top. The shower screen has the screw in it... Am I missing a setup step? Matt
