Searching for Faema Faemina 110v Heating Element
220/230v elements appear to be available through Nuova Ricambi, but not the 110v elements. They are, however, much less expensive than other sources: 48.7 Euros plus shipping. Anyone know of a 110v source?

Searching for Faema Faemina 110v Heating Element
I have committed a crime against humanity. I have burned out my heating element due to negligence. I became used to having a autofill (on my San Marco). I heard a horrible popping noise, like a sneeze. My tank was dry. My heating element is now dead. I did call Joe, as

Behmor 1600 coffee roaster - group taste test
I figured out the C1/C2 myself, since I do roast at home. But even with the explanation, I have no idea what Stir Crazy/Turbo Oven means... I'd be curious to hear how well the Behmor handled chaff during these roasts. Not sure how much chaff there is in the Harfusa Yirgacheffe. The main appeal of ge...

Cup Repair
I have also used two part (white) epoxy to repair both porcelain sculpture and a tiny espresso cup handle. Works great. Doesn't take much. Lasts. Resists even abuse in the dishwasher. If you had broken the handle, would it have been off one of the classic Ginori Illy cups from the early 1990s?

The LMWDP guide to lever espresso stands of the world
As I understand it, a lot of places won't let you put in a lever machine anymore- code regulations because they can present a physical danger (spring loaded lever snapping up). Precedent, if I remember correctly, was a woman in Colorado who broke her jaw. But perhaps that's just chatter. I dunno. I ...

How much time does your morning espresso routine require?
[Crema the dog demands to go out before I get to the machine- I am defenseless and the dog wins, so this is not counted in the process] Grind. Fill portafilter. Tamp. Mount portafilter on group. Grab cup from top of machine (extra points if it matches saucer). Pull down lever. Lower

Cubano shots anyone?
No, that would be a "Cuba menos libras". My recipe for cafe cubano would be to go to the airport, fly to Miami, and order one. If you aren't drinking it in the open air, next to a cool water dispenser, while someone is being teased in Spanish (hopefully not you!), why bother?

I love my Faema Faemina and need parts to save it...
Who? Me? Not yet. Hoping someone else has done it already and can share tips. There are springs, you know... But I'll get around to it in a couple of weeks regardless
