{link}.. see "pressure switch" it's toward the bottom right of the second photo.. that is the steam pressurestat. as far as group pressure.. i am not sure, but i think adjusting the rotary pump is easier than adjusting the opv.. or more effective.. you need a pressure gauge to really see what you're...

i let mine go because it's *big* as well.. It's not so tricky to use buy i prefer the full e61 group on my astra.. you can also look at info for s24 (same internals, but with tank and vibe pump,) and s26 (rotary pump as well, but semi-automatic)

yeah, Darren, I believe the S27 is equipped with a Sirai Pressure stat.. I run the machine up to boiler pressure, turn it off, unplug it.. Then you pop out the little yellow part and turn the screw.. plug machine back in and fire it back up.. that way it doesn't take too long to stabilize at the new

Rancilio price hikes are here!
Oil isn't the only commodity on the rise. I am sure their price hike is in part due to the weakening dollar and rise in cost of materials. The price of an item is generally what you expect the cost will be to replace the inventory. The hikes seem reasonable to me, given the current economic climate

I don't agree with the argument, "if you're paying 600 dollars for a machine they should put a Reg Barber tamper in the box".. after all the machine costs 600 dollars because they use expensive materials and intellectual property to make that machine.. it is a 600 dollar machine, and it should come ...
