Just a quick update on user experience: I definitely had a ton of static right out of the box, but after half a kg and RDT, I'm able to grind at the quickest motor setting without static! Still very much enjoying using the Lagom with my Bianca!

Just a quick update regarding user experience: My Lagom has been operational since Sunday of this week (now Wednesday) and while there was a bit of a curve in terms of getting it dialed in, I pulled 2 lovely shots today on my Lelit Bianca. As was expected, my first few shots had lots of static, but

Mine arrived Thursday (Canada) and didn't appear to have any delays! Pulled my first shot, and despite it being sub-optimal in appearance, it tasted very nice and balanced, though likely under extracted. Looking forward to getting more familiar and proficient with it!

I have a question about the water softener: Am I correct in understanding that once the provided softener passes 35L of water, it needs to be replaced? Is it possible to recharge the softener without replacing it? This is my first time with a water softener so I'm unfamiliar with how to maintain it ...

I ended up choosing the high uniformity burrs because it sounds like they suit a wider variety of roast profiles, and I think they may work better with my profiling machine (but I really don't know that for sure). It ended up being more of a gut decision than anything

Just received the invoice for final payment of my Lagom! After a lot of hemming and hawing I opted for the high uniformity burrs in the end. Really looking forward to this one!
