RPavlis is easy and functional TWW is expensive and isn't flexible if you're into adjusting water for your tastes in coffee. For someone pulling traditional espresso, TWW and custom-mixed water both may be overkill. Fridge-style filters generally don't do much about hardness. As a result, they gener...

What your own preferences are will matter a lot. "Medium" means different things to different people and different roasters (a...

Lagom P64 Flat (Option-O)
On break-in -- The automobile industry hasn't "solved" it for $30,000 cars, or even $300,000 cars - "The [Ferrari] Speciale owner's manual recommends the car be driven relatively mildly (keep revs no more than 5K) for the first 600 miles or so." QuickMill Carola - Replacing steam valve question
Standard warning is to immediately stop if the tube is twisting as you loosen the fitting. If you've got enough room to work, I'd only undo the valve. I'm not one to mess with connections that aren't leaking unless I have to

Single dosing grinder recommendations?
What flavor profiles do you value in espresso? Do you have a budget in mind? How far off were you finding the Niche to be when you returned to the first set of beans after dialing in the second?

Lagom P64 Flat (Option-O)
I wouldn't touch anything, if you even do in the future, until you've run 5-10 kg through the grinder. If you're worried about grinding too close to zero, a piece of tape with a mark on it can remind you about you're current touch point
