Leave espresso machine on during descaling?
Even 5-10% weight/weight is sufficient in many cases. Lower concentrations are slower and easier to manage. Higher concentrations make sense where there is likely heavy scale

Extractamundo! Temperature adjustments?
I would make a copy of the profile before making any changes as the ability to "revert to original" still has not been implemented by JB

Upgrading to a temperature stable espresso machine that can go back-to-back seamlessly.
Any of the commercial machines will take much longer than 15 minutes to warm up. All those you listed should have no problem with back-to-back shots at the rate an amateur barista can turn them out. With the possible exception of the VAPE1, you probably should let any of those warm up for 30-45 minu...

New Quick Mill Pop and Quick Mill Pop Up
Bringing a machine to the US also has complications with needing to change to 120 V operation and ideally getting safety approvals. The CE approvals don't transfer to US approvals. Unless there is sufficient volume to justify the upfront expenses, it doesn't make economic sense to import "yet anothe...

New Quick Mill Pop and Quick Mill Pop Up
Edit: The suggestion to reach out to Chris' Coffee only makes sense if you are in the US. I would reach out to Chris' Coffee if you are genuinely interested. Who's still buying conventional tampers?
I pull out my decades old "58" from time to time, just to confirm that it ain't the tamper but the hand that is guiding it that is likely the problem. Or it is just poorly designed and executed tampers that have misleading marketing, suggesting that they are "calibrated". Yet another reason marketer...

Light roasts right grind size > slow flow problem
Welcome to H-B! What grinder are you using? I'm going to make suggestions based on something with traditional burrs. Your soak times seem exceptionally long to me. At least as I think of it, the soak is primarily to evenly wet the coffee so that the puck has better integrity. While the grind you wil...

Domobar Jr Hx Temperatures
Ike's approach works for Ike's selections of coffee and expectations from that coffee. If you have different coffees or expectations, you may need something a bit more controlled. 20-30 seconds might be appropriate for a "dragon", but shorter flushes are generally more appropriate. I typically would...

Extractamundo! Temperature adjustments?
I've only used the Moonshine 64 mm Mizen, not the media-blasted ones. I'd put the ones I have in roughly the same category as the 64 MPs in this context
