Looking to upgrade - La Marzocco GS3 or Rocket R Nine One
Thanks for the weigh ins. @Randy As for weighing the night before, that would would. When I bought my first espresso grinder 10 years ago, I have so many issues with grinds getting lost in the process I always had to weight after. I guess there are a lot more high end single dose grinders out there ...

Looking to upgrade - La Marzocco GS3 or Rocket R Nine One
This may be a case of having more money than sense, but have had a good year and haven't treated myself to anything nice. Currently have a 5 year old Rocket Giotto V2. Very happy with it over time, though it is need of a service and new mushroom valve. Thinking about upgrading, and looking at opinio...

Baratza Sette - End User Reports
Just got mine an hour or so ago! I also had the new portafilter flange, but the originally pictured forks. Not a problem for my Rocket's portafilter so far, haven't played too much as am waiting for my machine to warm off (why did I even turn it off this morning?). Also haven't bothered adjust flang...

Speeding up E61 warm up time?
I just picked up a Rocket Evoluzione V2 a couple weeks ago. I got a WeMo switch - easy to set a standard turn on time. The pump is on the machine is rotary and reasonably quiet - it hasn't woken me up yet. Best part with the WeMo, if I decide I want an espresso when I get home

New Baratza grinder: the Sette Series
I currently have a Mazzer Mini, but don't care for single dosing with it or the footprint. The Sette is very appealing on both those fronts when compared with the price. Would the Sette be a big downgrade in performance?
