I'm in a similar boat with setting up my new mobile setup. I'm going with the Shurflo kit since it will send out 1.9gpm in addition to an accumulator. For a few hundred dollars more I think it will be worth it

Coffee Christmas party.... what would you bring?

I would steer clear of the Macchiato word.....they'll all want it with caramel sauce in a 20oz cup. I would take some Egg Nog syrup, Vanilla syrup, Caramel syrup, and chocolate sauce if you want to please the masses. Whole milk, 1 gal skim so you can mix to make 2% if needed

they are all the same strength. I prefer the taste of the Monin syrups since they replicate the actual flavors better. For a 12 oz drink I add 3 pumps of syrup and 4 pumps for a 16oz. Each pump is a 1/4 oz. And they do not need refrigeration

nope, I grabbed it all. My opinion is that the bitterness is from over extracting, so I tend to cut em off short. My customers all tell me that my espresso is smooth, lacks bitterness, and really comes through the milk. They think I'm putting lots of espresso in their cups, when in fact I'm dropping...

My local roaster is Cafe Brioso. And yes, I sell beans here by the pound. I usually order about 5-1lb bags along with my normal order. I place my orders every 3-4 days, so my beans are always very fresh. I prefer the order small and very frequent technique. While I'm finishing up what I
