Is water's blue tint really being caused by chloride?

Im happy to report that after flushing with 5 liters of 10mg/liter the water finally turned from green to a light yellow. I let it sit with bicarbonate water for at least 8 hours at operating temp with every 15-30 mins pumping fresh bicarbonate water through the group. So I took this as a good sign ...

Is water's blue tint really being caused by chloride?

Well I tried the baking soda solution and it didnt work. Actually it made the water a strong green blue again. Now it has subsided back to a faint light blue tint after a lot of flushing. I did use 10g per liter as was the recommendation in the blue water thread posted earlier

Is water's blue tint really being caused by chloride?

If I run enough water through the grouphead it will eventually come out clear. After about 8-12 oz. its clear. once I let it rest for a while the water starts coming out blue again. Any tips. Is water's blue tint really being caused by chloride?

I have ran an additional 2 liters through the grouphead, backflushed the machine twice and still the water has this very light blue tint. I had some neighbors come over to confirm they too saw it. Im a bit worried of drinking this water. Any ideas? Can I get it tested for any health hazards?

Is water's blue tint really being caused by chloride?

Thank you all for all the great questions and information. I dont descale often. Im guessing the last time was 6 months ago. I always use the same solution which is 1tbs of citric acid per liter of water. I mix it up well in a bucket and let the pump suck it up. This time I did leave in

Is water's blue tint really being caused by chloride?

Hi. After descaling my machine I cant get rid of an almost indistinguishable blue water coming out of the grouphead. Upon further investigation I read this may be caused by chloride in the water. My water utility publishes its water tests and you can see here: {link}. The chloride was as high as 64p...

Value of used Astoria Divina / Mazzer Super Jolly, cost to restore?

I currently own your exact same setup and it's incredible. Don't sell it. Clean it up and you will be amazed what it can do for you. I spent about a few hundred on both to get the fully operational. The main thing that goes bad on the Divina is the CPU and it costs over

Astoria Divina - strange behavior

Actually the chip is socketed. Which is more of a reason why it should be sold as an official Astoria part. As for reading it yes it can be read if its not read protected. I found a programmer on ebay for about 100. But dont want to go buy it just to find out its protected. Ohh well. Just
