58mm SSP burrs for F4E, Mazzer Mini, etc.
I look forward to your feedback! Out of curiosity - why did you go non-coated? Simply for your lack of volume and the fact they would take forever to 'break in'? Or was it simply price? Speaking of - how much were these burrs (CDN + shipping)?

New Monolith Flat owner trying to figure it out
That shot time is way too long. Also - you simply can not replicate Slayers pre-brew function on your machine, so it's best to simply experiment with variables that you're used to. KISS, always

Mahlkonig Peak Inconsistent Dosing
An everage of less than 1g over that many shots in a time based grinder seems reasonable to me. There's a good change your burrs are still breaking in considering it's so new, too. What do others generally see?

Has Espresso Become a Hobby for the Rich?
There are still plenty of deals to be had online and Craigslist etc. I bought a barely used Linea PB 2-group for $7000 CDN, turned around and drive it straight to a retailer and traded it for a Slayer 1gr + Peak ($14,000 CDN in value). I sold those and pocketed the money. Then I found a

My unqualified opinion on grinders comparison and burrs sizes
I know plenty of folks who love their Major's and the output quality, cafes included. I also know many folks who have had an incredible amount of problems with Mythos Clima Cool grinders. Different strokes. I bought my Major for around $300. I'm completely happy with the output, even if - for argume...

Love for Mazzer Royal?
I scored a barely-used Major for $300 and an EK43 for less than $1000 in Toronto! Keep your eyes peeled! Then again you'll likely see my Speedster added to the fold, and that 'ish won't be cheap!

Doubt I'll post or read here again.
I understand wanting to ask for help, but couldn't this entire headache have been sidestepped simply by hiring a local plumber to sort it all out for you? For someone who can seemingly afford a very expensive custom commercial-grade machine, I would imagine that you could afford a plumber and have t...

[SOLD] Kees van der Westen Speedster 120v (Canada)
Up for sale is my brand-new, never used, Kees Speedster. This machine was custom ordered with the 120v 20AMP option. From what I've been told, Kees is no longer doing 120V machines - main reason being is because they were for a specific market, he was running out of parts, and he didn't want to order
